1972-1974年发掘的长沙马王堆汉墓,是西汉长沙国 丞相、轪侯利苍一家三口的墓葬,共土了三千多件珍 贵文物,是20世纪世界最重大的考古发现之一。保存 完好的墓葬结构及丰富的随葬品,是汉代生活方式、 丧葬观念的完整呈现。700余件工艺繁复的精美漆器, 反映了汉代髹漆业的辉煌成就;500多件织精绣美的丝 织衣物,力证了西方文献中“丝国”(Seres)的记载; 逾50篇“百科全书”式的简帛文献,传承了先哲们的学识 与智慧;诡谲奇幻的彩棺帛画,蕴含了汉代的升天幻想 及永生渴望;宛如梦中的千年遗容,创造了人类防腐技 术的奇迹……马王堆汉墓是人们了解2200年前社会风貌的 窗口,被誉为汉初历史文明的标杆。
Excavated in 1972-1974, the Mawangdui Han Tomb in Changsha was the tomb of the prime minister of Changsha in the Western Han Dynasty and the family of three of Hou Licang, and more than 3,000 precious cultural relics were unearthed, which is one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the world in the 20th century. The well-preserved tomb structure and abundant burial goods are a complete presentation of the lifestyle and funeral concept of the Han Dynasty. More than 700 pieces of exquisite lacquerware with intricate craftsmanship reflect the brilliant achievements of the lacquer industry in the Han Dynasty; more than 500 pieces of silk clothing with exquisite embroidery and beautiful embroidery testify to the record of the "Silk Country" (Seres) in Western literature; more than 50 "encyclopedic" simple silk documents inherit the knowledge and wisdom of the sages; the treacherous and fantastical color coffin silk paintings contain the fantasy of ascension and the desire for eternal life of the Han Dynasty; like the thousand-year-old relics in a dream, creating the miracle of human embalming technology...... The Mawangdui Han Tomb is a window for people to understand the social landscape 2,200 years ago, and is known as the benchmark of historical civilization in the early Han Dynasty.
